Nick Nudell – Project Manager

Nick Nudell is the EMS Compass Project Manager for NASEMSO and has been a partner in PrioriHealth Partners, LLP and its predecessors for more than twenty years. Over the years his clients have ranged from small rural ambulance services struggling to remain operational, to regional collaborations in patient-tracking for disasters, to statewide public health and safety system development, and national data and performance measurement activities. Nick has been a licensed paramedic for more than 15 years in Glacier County Montana but has also delivered patient care in New Jersey, California, and at Burning Man in Nevada.

As a founding board member of the Paramedic Foundation, a 501c3, he serves as the Executive Director of both the Paramedic Information Privacy, Security, and Assurance Alliance and the Ultra Medical Team. He recently completed tenure on the National EMS Advisory Council, a FACA committee advising the Secretary and the Federal Interagency Committee on EMS on matters pertaining to EMS representing the data managers.

Nudell has a bachelor’s degree in IT Management, a Master’s in Computer Information Systems Information Security, and is a doctoral student in Information Systems studying analytics and decision science. He is also an adjunct instructor for Idaho State University’s paramedic bachelor’s program. Nudell also serves as a public safety liaison to the SAE technical standards committee for Dedicated Short Range Communications for our future in Connected Vehicles. In his spare time he enjoys getting away from all the technology by hiking wilderness areas, camping with his family, and doing long distance trail runs known as ultra marathons.
