Domain Webinar Series

EMS Compass hosted a series of town-hall style webinars June 15-18, 2015 as a forum for members of the EMS community and other stakeholders to provide feedback on the quality and performance measures topics under consideration for further development and testing. The ten webinars were organized by type of performance measure domain, or related area of interest. Members of the EMS Compass Initiative led the webinars, which focused on discussing the types of measures that have been proposed and receiving community input.  You can access the recordings and documentation here. 

EMS Compass Initiative Steering Committee Meeting August 2015, Washington, DC

The second in-person meeting of the EMS Compass Steering Committee occurred on Wednesday, August 19th in Washington, DC. The Steering Committee reviewed the  recent performance measures as well as the process being developed. You can access the recordings of the meeting here.

EMS Focus Webinar – Using Data to Improve EMS Systems of Care

As part of NHTSA’s Office of EMS regular webinar series, this August 2015 roundtable discussion addresses how local and state EMS systems use data to benchmark performance and guide quality improvement efforts to provide better care for patients and communities. The distinguished group of panelists also address the significant quantity of EMS data and how both national and local data sets allow different opportunities for tracking performance over time.
